A seasoned political veteran with 15 years’ experience, Amy has won hard-fought campaigns and advised candidates up and down the ballot. At Left Hook, she is strategist and media consultant for a range of political and issue advocacy campaigns.
In addition to her years in political media, Amy has counseled corporate and nonprofit executives on strategic communications, public affairs, and political risk assessment. She is skilled in preparing for and managing political crisis incidents, leading rapid response teams, and debate and speech preparation.
Amy previously served as Research Director at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, helping the Committee defy expectations in back to back cycles by protecting the Democratic Senate majority (2010) and picking up seats (2012), expanded a Democratic majority at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and cut her teeth on a competitive U.S. Senate race in Tennessee.
Amy is a cum laude graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, where she learned to love country music. A recovering Washingtonian, she now lives in her native Chicago, a great place to visit...in the summer.
