Political media and strategy firm Left Hook is seeking a versatile Designer to join its team. Left Hook represents state, congressional, senatorial and gubernatorial democratic candidates nationwide.

This is a full time opportunity that ends after the General Election in November of 2022. This will be a remote opportunity, but restricted to U.S. citizens living in the U.S.

As a designer, you will work across many different projects including: digital content, print collateral, photo retouching, and pitch decks.

What You'll Do

+ Design high-quality digital content for social channels like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat, assisting Left Hook’s Design Director to execute client projects

+ Build out a brand, from logo to typography, for candidates, ballot measures, and isssue-campaigns.

+ Work with senior members of the creative team to provide creative input for projects with distinct goals for clients.

+ Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines

What You'll Have

+ 1+ years of internship experience or coursework in visual design

+ High level of creativity, energy and detail-orientation

+ Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

+ Understand best practices for digital and social media banners, both static and animated.

+ Excellent design sense, including composition, color and typography

+ The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

+ Knowledge of what works versus what looks best
